Rename Your Tracking Fields

     The Tracking Form fields you use to manage your bill file can be relabeled to match your needs. You may want ‘Assigned’ to read ‘Analyst’ or ‘Organization’ to read ‘Client’; Edit your fields by following these steps:

     Navigate to Settings and Tools by clicking on your username in the upper-right corner, while logged into CapitolTrack. Then find the Systems Option page, under Maintenance and scroll down to Edit Field Names. 

 

     On this page, our name for a field shows on the left and your custom label shows on the right. Click within the right fields to edit the Field Names:

     Finally, save your changes by clicking ‘Save’ at the top right. Be sure to discuss with your colleagues how you would like to update your fields as these changes afftect all users on your account, and show in all reports and Tracking Forms.
